LIGHT UPDATE

Hey friends!

One of the greatest things to watch is the next generation rise up, take their place and run with the Gospel.

Saintz are doing just that. Have a read of some incredible life changing stories below as we grow our impact with LZ7 and Saintz here at Light.

Last week was amazing, the Saintz team travelled to Spring Harvest Skegness and the sun was shining all week.

What a joy!

We had the privilege of walking alongside the young people, sharing our faith, praying together, and leading many young people into a relationship with Jesus for the first time.

We would love to share a story from one of our morning sessions with you:

“A young girl from the youth group approached the Saintz team for prayer and she began to cry as we prayed for her. After the session, Destiny checked in with her, and she mentioned that we had met before. Initially, we assumed she had seen Saintz at Spring Harvest in a previous year. However, it turned out that we had met her during our Illuminate schools tour in Rushden last year - How amazing!

She explained that after we visited her school she came to the gig and responded to the gospel. Following on from the gig she joined the AAA Pass weekly discipleship sessions and started attending church regularly. She said

"that week was the kick-start to my whole faith journey". A year later, she's here at Spring Harvest.”

It's so encouraging witnessing first-hand the impact our Illuminate schools weeks have on young people's lives.

It's amazing that we first met this young person in a high school in Rushden, and now praying for her at a christian youth morning in Skegness.

Every ILLUMINATE tour sees us in front of 5,000 young people across a schools week, this costs on average £3 per young person.

That's 1000 young people each day who are hearing a message of hope.

We are seeing huge numbers turning their back on self-harm, bullying, suicide, realising they have purpose and a reason to be here, giving their life to Jesus.
