WHO ARE WE?
LIGHT IS A FAMILY OF ARTISTS AND RECORD LABEL USING MUSIC TO IMPACT YOUNG PEOPLE WITH A POSITIVE MESSAGE IN AN OFTEN DARK WORLD.
We aim to take music with a message of hope to a generation that needs it more than ever. Music is a platform that can grab a generation’s imagination! It is a universal language and vehicle that can break social barriers, stereotypes of culture, race, background and faith. We are an independent charitable organisation fusing music, schools work, online resources and a mainstream presence to speak to more young people than ever.

MUSIC CREATES THE PLATFORM TO SEE YOUNG PEOPLE'S LIVES CHANGED

LIGHT realises the potential of music and the impact it can have in communicating hope to a generation that needs it so badly, following the release and success of LZ7's singles “This Little Light” & “27 Million” into the mainstream charts, we wanted to create channels and networks to help sustain and maintain artists who have more to their music and need a platform to launch from.

Light Music is taking on new artists that have a great talent and are genuine artists in their own right and we put a family of creative people to help, motivate, create and mentor and then, release them into the mainstream through our network and relationships with the industry. As our history has shown, an increased presence in the mainstream creates a bigger platform to speak to young people.

TO SEE MILLIONS OF YOUNG PEOPLE INSPIRED BY FAITH TO LIVE THEIR LIVES ON PURPOSE.

Illuminate is the name of LIGHT's nationwide schools tour. Our artists have been in front of 76,000 young people in schools across the UK, covering subjects ranging from anti bullying to mental health. Using artists from the label and partnering with artists from across the world, we use music to effectively communicate hope and inspire young people to live their lives on purpose.

The vision is to see millions of young people connected to Jesus in our Generation.

WE HAVE A PASSION TO HELP YOUNG PEOPLE CARRY ON THEIR JOURNEY, FROM HELPING THEM WITH THEIR MENTAL HEALTH TO EQUIPPING THEM IN THEIR FIRST STEPS OF FAITH.
As a part of the music and schools work, we need somewhere to point young people to when they ask questions or need more help. We have developed resources to help young people find their own faith & help them get plugged into church. We also have our mental health resource 'I'm Possible', which covers issues from eating disorders to grief, anxiety to self-harm.
